US offers $20 million for tips on Iran nuclear program

What's new: The reward includes possible relocation and seeks details on facilities, equipment and scientists tied to Iran's program.

The United States is offering up to $20 million and possible relocation for information about Iran's nuclear program, widening pressure on Tehran as diplomacy and military threats move in parallel. US Central Command posted the offer from the State Department's Rewards for Justice program, saying it is seeking information on facilities, equipment and associated personnel, including members of Iran's scientific community. The department linked the move to Iran's safeguards disputes with the International Atomic Energy Agency. The offer came as President Donald Trump said Tehran wants a deal to end the war, while also raising the prospect of more US strikes, including against the site known as Pickaxe Mountain in central Iran. Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian said this week his government was still pursuing dialogue.
