Universitas Borobudur appoints Ahmad Redi as professor
He stressed that administrative law must be strengthened to make government more accountable, transparent and protective of citizens' rights.
Universitas Borobudur conferred Ahmad Redi as Professor in the field of State Administrative Law in Jakarta on Saturday. At the ceremony, Redi said the title of professor was not the end of an academic journey, but the start of greater responsibility to advance knowledge and provide public benefit.
He emphasized that state administrative law plays an important role in regulating government authority, the administration of the state, protection of public rights, and the accountability of public decisions. According to him, the field has become increasingly important amid social change, technological development and demands for more transparent governance.
Redi also called for strengthening education, research, scientific publication and community service so that the development of legal science does not stop in academia, but also helps address real problems in modern government.
