TVRI holds FIFA broadcast rights in Indonesia through 2027
The package covers the 2026 World Cup, the 2026 U-17 World Cup and the 2027 Women’s World Cup, with distribution limited to Indonesia.
TVRI said the FIFA broadcast rights it holds run through 2027 and are not limited to a single tournament. TVRI President Director Fiki Satari explained that the media and broadcasting rights are based on a Media Rights Agreement made in December 2025. The coverage includes the 2026 World Cup, the 2026 U-17 World Cup and the 2027 Women’s World Cup, with usage periods starting 180 days before and ending 180 days after each event concludes. TVRI stressed that the rights it obtained are for broadcasting and distribution, not for managing or operating FIFA competitions. The broadcasts are distributed only in Indonesia through TVRI Nasional, TVRI Sport, Folaplay, MAXStream, and DTH services Transvision, K-Vision and Indovision.
