Tuchel rips England after 2-1 extra-time World Cup win over Norway
What's next: England face Argentina in the semifinals after Jude Bellingham scored twice, including the extra-time winner in Miami.
England reached the World Cup semifinals with a 2-1 extra-time victory over Norway in Miami, but manager Thomas Tuchel blasted the performance as sloppy and fortunate. Jude Bellingham scored twice for England, leveling the match in the 47th minute and then striking again in the 93rd minute to send the hosts through. Tuchel said England made too many technical mistakes, played too slowly and relied on luck after Norway took the lead, missed a chance to go 2-0 up, had a goal ruled out and hit the bar. The result sends England into a semifinal against Argentina after a draining 122-minute quarterfinal played in hot, humid conditions at Hard Rock Stadium.
