Travel Meet Asia 2026 in Jakarta draws 1,500 tourism players
The B2B forum brings together 500 buyers and 100 exhibitors from 16 countries to open partnerships and market access.
Travel Meet Asia 2026 is being held at Swissotel PIK Avenue, Jakarta, on 23-24 June, with about 1,500 participants from the travel industry. The business-to-business event, organized by Messe Berlin Asia Pacific with support from ITB Asia and ASITA, brings together 500 buyers, 100 exhibitors from 16 countries, and 60 speakers. Tourism Minister Widiyanti Putri Wardhana said the forum is important for expanding cooperation among Asia's tourism players, from travel agents and tour operators to hotels and airlines. The Ministry of Tourism also highlighted the sector's performance: foreign tourist arrivals to Indonesia rose 10.8 percent in 2025, generating 18.27 billion dollar AS in foreign exchange earnings and absorbing 25.9 million workers.
