Tottenham take Omar Marmoush on loan, must buy for 60 million pounds

Tottenham Hotspur have signed Omar Marmoush from Manchester City on loan until the end of the season, with an obligation to make the move permanent for 60 million pounds next summer. The 27-year-old Egypt striker arrives in north London after his role at City shrank last season. BBC reported that Marmoush scored 16 goals in 62 appearances for City in all competitions since joining from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025. But in last season's Premier League, he was more often used off the bench, with 13 of his 21 league appearances coming as a substitute. Tottenham have made him their latest attacking addition, days after bringing in Savio from City.
