Timothee Chalamet, Selena Gomez to voice Illumination's 'Not Alone'

Timothee Chalamet and Selena Gomez will voice characters in Illumination's animated film “Not Alone.” The project was introduced at the Annecy Animation Festival in France, with a theatrical release scheduled for April 16, 2027. Chalamet will voice Joe, a reclusive rocket mechanic who lives alone, while Gomez plays Fran, an astro-botanist developing the first plant-powered rocket. The two are brought together while preparing the launch. The story then unfolds after three small aliens named Dunk, Welly, and Shirm hide in Joe's home and hope Fran's rocket can take them back home. The film is directed by Eric Guillon, Claire Dodgson, and Jonathan Del Val, and produced by Illumination founder Chris Meledandri.
