Temasek targets 15% AI portfolio share by 2031 after record year

Temasek plans to raise AI-related assets to as much as 15% of its portfolio by the financial year ending March 2031, up from about 6% now, as Singapore's state investor leans further into artificial intelligence after another record year. Net portfolio value rose to S$518 billion for the year ended March 31, while total shareholder return was 10.5%. Temasek said it sees the strongest near-term opportunities in AI, core-plus infrastructure and private credit. Its current AI holdings include Nvidia, TSMC, Anthropic, OpenAI, Microsoft and Tencent, and it expects to add exposure across data centers, semiconductors, cloud providers, foundation models and software applications.
