Temasek portfolio value hit record S$518 billion in fiscal 2026
What's new: The state investor said Middle East turmoil shaved about 2% off value late in the year, though most losses were later recovered.
Temasek’s net portfolio value rose 10.5% from a year earlier to a record S$518 billion as of March 31, helped by stronger performance from Singapore-listed holdings and gains from major asset sales. The state investor said one of the key divestments was ST Telemedia’s sale of its remaining 82% stake in ST Telemedia Global Data Centres to KKR and Singtel for S$6.6 billion. Temasek invested S$51 billion and divested S$31 billion during the year. Chief Executive Dilhan Pillay Sandrasegara said conflict in the Middle East cut about 2% from portfolio value in the final stretch of the fiscal year, while a stronger Singapore dollar also weighed on returns.
