Tanjung Priok Immigration opens passport service at Car Free Day

New: Applicants can complete document checks, biometrics and passport requirement consultations on holidays.

The Class I TPI Tanjung Priok Immigration Office opened passport application services through the PASPORIA program in the car-free day area in Jakarta on Sunday. The service is aimed at residents who have trouble handling passport matters on weekdays, as they can now come on weekends at a more accessible location. According to Tanjung Priok Immigration Office head Imam Setiawan, officers handled the process under standard operating procedures, from document verification and biometric data collection to explaining the requirements and procedures for passport applications. The immigration office said the program is an effort to bring immigration services closer to the public while expanding access to official services for residents.
