3-car pileup on Senayan toll road injures 2
The injured were the Honda Brio driver and passenger, while police's initial review points to an unsafe following distance.
A three-car pileup occurred at KM 09 of the Inner City Toll Road near the Senayan Toll Gate in Central Jakarta on Sunday at around 01:00 WIB. Two people were injured in the incident: the driver and passenger of a Honda Brio, who were then evacuated to Rumah Sakit Pelni. AKBP Reiki Indra Brata Manggala, head of the PJR unit at Polda Metro Jaya's traffic directorate, said the vehicles involved were a Honda Brio B 1800 CKP, an Isuzu Pickup B 9121 FVT, and a Hyundai B 1032 BDO. All three were traveling in the same direction from Semanggi to the west. According to the officers' initial analysis, the crash was triggered by driver inattention and failure to keep a safe distance after a truck stopped suddenly in front of the Brio. The case is being handled by the traffic accident unit of Subdit Gakkum Pancoran.
