SMRC poll: Satisfaction with Prabowo drops to 51.1 percent
The figure fell from 81.2 percent in November 2025 as views of the economy, politics and law enforcement worsened.
A Saiful Mujani Research and Consulting (SMRC) survey found public satisfaction with President Prabowo Subianto's performance fell to 51.1 percent in a July 5-19, 2026 poll. That was down from 81.2 percent in November 2025. SMRC Executive Director Deni Irvani said the decline was linked to worsening public assessments of economic conditions, politics and law enforcement. In the latest results, 4.8 percent of respondents said they were very satisfied, 46.3 percent fairly satisfied, 35 percent less satisfied and 11.9 percent not satisfied at all. Deputy House Speaker and daily chairman of DPP Partai Gerindra Sufmi Dasco Ahmad said the survey results were being studied and would be compiled as input for government evaluation.
