Singapore to offer 2,520 BTO flats with waits of about 3 years

What's new: More than a third of the roughly 6,900 June launch units will be in three faster-delivery projects in Sembawang and Ang Mo Kio.

Singapore’s Housing and Development Board will put 2,520 Build-to-Order flats with waiting times of about three years or less on sale in its June exercise, part of a wider launch of about 6,900 units. Two of the faster projects are in the new Sembawang North estate: Sembawang Portico, with 875 units and a wait of two years and seven months, and Sembawang Brook, with 1,160 units and a wait of two years and nine months. A third project, Kebun Baru Ridge in Ang Mo Kio, will offer 485 three- and four-room flats with a wait of three years and one month. HDB said the shorter timelines come from earlier planning and construction, and residents in the two Sembawang projects will get cooked food, childcare, a minimart and bus services about six months after the first key collection.
