Singapore authorities are investigating British trip-hop band Massive Attack after members displayed a Palestinian flag and led “Free Palestine” chants during a July 29 concert at The Star Performing Arts Centre. Police said reports were filed, while the Infocomm Media Development Authority is separately examining a possible breach of license conditions. Videos shared online showed two band members holding the flag on stage as the crowd cheered. Under Singapore law, publicly displaying a foreign national emblem without a permit or exemption can carry a fine of up to S$500, up to six months in jail, or both. Promoter Lushington said it was aware of the reports and would cooperate with authorities.
