Singapore police arrested a 32-year-old woman over the suspected theft of two motorcycles in Woodlands and Jurong West. Police said a motorcycle parked on Woodlands Drive 52 was reported missing at about 6 p.m. on June 23. Investigators from Woodlands Police Division identified the suspect through ground inquiries and police camera images. Preliminary findings indicate she spotted the unattended motorcycle on June 22 with the ignition key left in it, started it and rode away. The motorcycle was later recovered. Police also believe she was involved in a separate motorcycle theft reported at a car park on Jurong West Street 81. She is set to be charged June 26 with theft of a motor vehicle under Section 379A of the Penal Code 1871.
