Prime HDB projects drew 65% of June BTO demand in Singapore
What's new: 22,634 applicants chased 6,952 flats, while two shorter-wait projects in Sembawang were undersubscribed.
Prime Build-To-Order projects in Bishan and Bukit Merah attracted the bulk of demand in Singapore’s June sales exercise, even as two shorter-wait developments in Sembawang struggled to fill. As of 5pm on June 24, Prime projects Berlayar Rise and Lakeview Cascadia accounted for about 65% of all applicants, with more than 5,000 bids for 988 four-room flats in Berlayar Rise and 3,753 for 745 in Lakeview Cascadia. Across the launch, 22,634 applicants vied for 6,952 flats, an overall application rate of 3.3. In contrast, Sembawang Portico and Sembawang Brook, both Standard projects with waits under three years, drew fewer than one first-time family applicant per unit across several flat types.
