Comedian Shane Gillis criticized UFC heavyweight Josh Hokit after Hokit made a crude remark about former first lady Michelle Obama following a victory over Derrick Lewis at the UFC Freedom 250 event on the White House South Lawn on Sunday. During his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan inside the Octagon, Hokit claimed without evidence that Michelle Obama is a man, drawing a mixed response from the crowd. Asked afterward about the comment, Gillis told reporters he “didn’t like” it and repeated that he did not approve. The event was staged by the Trump administration on President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday and drew a mix of political figures, celebrities and fight fans.
