Russian bombs hit Kharkiv apartment block, killing 1 and wounding 9

Russian guided bombs struck a low-rise apartment building in Kharkiv early Saturday, killing at least one person and injuring nine, including a 6-year-old, Ukrainian officials said. Mayor Ihor Terekhov said rescuers pulled a body from the rubble hours after the blast in the Kholodnohirskiy district. Regional administration head Oleh Syniehubov said five of the injured were hospitalized. Elsewhere in Kharkiv, a Russian drone hit a civilian car Friday evening, killing a man and injuring the woman driving. Later Saturday, guided bombs struck the outskirts of Sumy, killing another civilian man and damaging at least 20 private houses, local officials said. Ukraine's air force said it shot down 92 of 99 drones launched overnight.
