Rubin Colwill's 98th-minute free kick rescues Cardiff in 1-1 draw
What's new: Wrexham led from the third minute through Kieffer Moore but failed to convert 18 shots into an opening-win cushion.
Rubin Colwill drilled a free kick over the wall with the last kick of the match to give Cardiff City a 1-1 Championship draw against Wrexham in the Welsh derby at Cardiff City Stadium on Monday. Wrexham had looked set for victory after Kieffer Moore, a former Cardiff forward, scored in the third minute for his seventh goal against the Bluebirds. The visitors created the better chances, finishing with 18 attempts to Cardiff's 11 and hitting the woodwork twice, but could not put the game away. In the closing moments, George Dobson fouled Joel Colwill on the edge of the box, and Rubin Colwill converted in the 98th minute to deny Wrexham a first win in the Welsh capital since 1992.
