Rp3.5 billion report withdrawn, Ruben Onsu case heads to SP3
Next, investigators at Polres Metro Jakarta Selatan will process restorative justice and hold a case review to end the probe.
The alleged fraud and embezzlement case involving Ruben Onsu is moving toward the termination of the investigation after the complainant withdrew the police report. Polres Metro Jakarta Selatan has received two documents from the complainant: a peace agreement between the parties and a withdrawal of the report. AKP Joko Adi Wibowo, head of public relations at Polres Metro Jakarta Selatan, said the documents form the basis for settlement through restorative justice. After that process and the case review are completed, investigators will issue an SP3, ending Ruben's status as a suspect. The case began with an investment offer in a product trading business to victim DM, with losses of Rp3.5 billion. Ruben also said an agreement has been reached and the loss was repaid through a family settlement.
