Roy Suryo challenges legality of arrest, search in PN Jaksel
First hearing is set for 29 June after the files for Roy Suryo and doctor Tifa were declared complete and handed over.
Roy Suryo has filed a pretrial motion with the South Jakarta District Court to test the legality of his arrest and the search conducted by investigators from Polda Metro Jaya. The petition was registered on 22 June 2026 under case number 99/Pid.Pra/2026/PN JKT.SEL. The first hearing is scheduled for Monday, 29 June 2026, at 09.00 WIB, and will be presided over by single judge I Ketut Darpawan. Roy's lawyer, Ahmad Khozinudin, said the pretrial challenge covers the arrest process at Roy's home and the search carried out by investigators. In the case, the listed respondents include the Kapolda Metro Jaya along with investigators and prosecutors. Earlier, Roy Suryo and Tifauzia Tyassuma alias doctor Tifa were detained on 19 June before being transferred to the South Jakarta Prosecutor's Office after the case files were declared P-21.
