Rosie O'Donnell ends Kimmel guest-host run with new Trump jabs
What's new: The White House hit back after O'Donnell closed her week on air by mocking Trump and citing free speech.
Rosie O'Donnell wrapped up a week as guest host of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Thursday by renewing her attacks on President Donald Trump during her closing monologue. O'Donnell thanked viewers and Jimmy Kimmel, then said the show had reminded people they have a right to free speech. The White House responded through spokesperson Davis Ingle, who criticized O'Donnell in a statement to Fox News Digital. O'Donnell had filled in while Kimmel was on summer vacation. Earlier in the week, she also explained that she moved to Ireland after Trump's 2024 election win, saying she had read Project 2025 and decided to leave the United States.
