Rep. Tom Kean Jr. is expected to return to Capitol Hill for votes on June 30 after more than 100 days away from Washington, ending an absence that left the New Jersey Republican without a floor vote since early March. Kean has missed 135 roll call votes, according to GovTrack. His office has said he was sidelined by a personal health issue but has not disclosed the condition. Kean previously told the New Jersey Globe that the issue did not affect his cognitive health and would not create chronic complications that could hinder a third House campaign.
