Real Madrid completed the signing of Ivory Coast winger Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig in the 2026 summer transfer window, adding one of Europe’s most sought-after young attackers. Madrid said the 19-year-old agreed a seven-year contract through 2033. Antara, citing Sky Sports, reported the fee could reach 140 million euros with bonuses. BBC Sport said Madrid moved after Diomande’s first full European season, when he scored 13 goals and supplied 10 assists in all competitions for Leipzig. He was also named Bundesliga young player of the year after posting 12 goals and eight assists in league play. Diomande played all four of Ivory Coast’s matches at the 2026 World Cup before its quarterfinal exit to Norway.
