Real Madrid beat Racing Santander 3-0 for sixth straight win
What's new: Kylian Mbappe scored a penalty as Madrid stayed three points behind La Liga leader Barcelona.
Real Madrid won 3-0 at Racing Santander on Sunday, stretching their winning streak to six matches in all competitions and keeping pace in the La Liga title race. Kylian Mbappe converted a penalty, while Jude Bellingham and Yan Diomande also scored as Madrid moved within three points of leader Barcelona. The result left Madrid third in the table after Barcelona's 6-1 win over Alaves on Saturday. The victory came after a turbulent week for Mbappe, who missed out on the Ballon d'Or to Harry Kane and apologized after backlash over a video in which he joked about former Chinese leader Mao Zedong. Chinese state television did not air Madrid's match or other Spanish fixtures this weekend.
