BBC Sport reported Rangers have taken in about £18 million from European participation over the past five years, roughly 19% of turnover in the latest accounts. Finance analyst Kieran Maguire said Europa League money is worth about twice the Conference League, with fewer home dates also cutting matchday income. Rangers now must beat Czech side Jablonec over two legs to reach the Conference League stage, where even qualification could still leave a shortfall of about £8 million versus recent seasons.
