Pramono sets 267 Jakarta villages for Benyamin S Award 2027

DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung is targeting all 267 kelurahan in Jakarta to take part in the Benyamin S Award 2027. He delivered the target at the Benyamin S Award 2026 ceremony in Jakarta on Friday, after the number of participants rose from 27 kelurahan in 2025 to 52 kelurahan this year. Pramono said the event is not only an award, but also a push for kelurahan to compete to improve the environment, tap local potential and strengthen resident participation. In the 2026 edition, Kelurahan Utan Kayu Selatan won the Nyaman category, Kelapa Gading Timur the Indah category and Sukabumi Utara the Sejahtera category. Pramono is also preparing an overseas study program for 10 finalist lurah, with destinations including ASEAN countries, Japan and Tiongkok.
