Pramono offers DKI help to build Transjabodetabek stop in Bekasi
Bekasi city government says the stop is already under construction and is scheduled for completion by the end of November.
DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung offered help to build a Transjabodetabek stop in Bekasi, West Java, when he met Bekasi Mayor Tri Adhianto at Jakarta City Hall on Monday (26/10). The offer came after many users, especially residents of Bekasi, questioned why the stop had not yet been built amid rising ridership on the Bekasi route. Pramono said daily Transjabodetabek passengers bound for Bekasi now range from 4.000-5.000 people, while the Bogor route reaches 8.000-10.000 people per day. Tri Adhianto said construction of the Bekasi stop has already been underway and is scheduled to be completed by the end of November. He added that help from the DKI provincial government remains possible through interregional cooperation.
