Prabowo sets 2027 budget deficit at 2.4% of GDP, spending Rp4.097 T
State revenue is targeted at Rp3.426 trillion, while financing falls to Rp671.2 trillion from the 2026 plan.
President Prabowo Subianto set the 2027 draft state budget deficit at 2.40 percent of GDP, below the 2026 state budget deficit target of 2.68 percent. In the introduction to the 2027 APBN bill and the Financial Note in Jakarta on Friday, the government also set state spending at Rp4.097,2 trillion and state revenue at Rp3.426 trillion. Budget financing is planned at Rp671,2 trillion, down from Rp689,1 trillion in the 2026 plan. The 2027 macro assumptions include economic growth of 6 percent, inflation of 2.5 percent, a 10-year SBN yield of 6.9 percent, an exchange rate of Rp17.500 per U.S. dollar, and Indonesia's crude oil price at 75 U.S. dollars per barrel. The government also targets poverty at 6.0-6.5 percent and open unemployment at 4.30-4.87 percent.
