Prabowo meets DEN in Hambalang on economy and GovTech
The July 14 meeting focused on linking digital services so social aid data is more accurate and misdirected aid falls.
President Prabowo Subianto received National Economic Council Chairman Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan and the DEN team in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. The meeting discussed the state of the national economy and strategic input to strengthen Indonesia's economy amid global volatility. Along with Luhut, those present included Mari Elka Pangestu, Chatib Basri, Firman Hidayat, Tubagus Nugraha, and Pantro Pander Silitonga. Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said DEN also reported improvements to GovTech to accelerate the government's digital transformation. The system is aimed at improving data accuracy, reducing errors in aid distribution, and strengthening transparency and efficiency in government services.
