Prabowo installs Sudaryono to lead Badan Gizi Nasional
Nanik S Deyang stepped down for heart treatment as kitchens in the Free Nutritious Meals program undergo review.
President Prabowo Subianto installed Sudaryono as head of Badan Gizi Nasional at the Istana Negara in Jakarta on Wednesday (22/7). The leadership change came after Nanik S Deyang resigned from the post for health reasons. Presidential special assistant for communications and policy Dirgayuza Setiawan said Nanik bid farewell to President Prabowo to undergo heart treatment and step down from BGN. After taking office, Sudaryono immediately highlighted implementation of the Free Nutritious Meals Program. He said BGN would inspect MBG kitchens that have not met standards, order corrections, then close facilities that still cannot comply.
