Prabowo claims 121 policies completed in 21 months at MPR session
He cited removal of 145 fertilizer rules, B50 diesel from palm oil starting July 1, 2026, and Rp170 triliun in foreign exchange savings.
President Prabowo Subianto, in the Annual Session of the MPR RI and Joint Session of the DPR-DPD RI at the Nusantara Building in Jakarta on Friday, claimed his administration had carried out 121 transformative policies in 21 months, or 663 days. In the state address, he highlighted six main priorities, including food self-sufficiency, which he said was achieved in one year, and self-sufficiency in eight food commodities: rice, corn, consumer sugar, chicken meat, chicken eggs, shallots, large chili peppers and bird's eye chili. Prabowo also said 145 regulations governing fertilizer distribution had been removed and fertilizer prices had fallen 20 percent. In the energy sector, he said B50 diesel produced from palm oil would allow Indonesia to stop importing solar diesel starting July 1, 2026, saving Rp170 triliun a year in foreign exchange.
