Prabowo gives Bahlil a 'satisfactory' rating in Jakarta
At Bahlil's 50th birthday event, Prabowo joked that the energy minister was smart enough to make Jokowi laugh.
President Prabowo Subianto gave Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia a “satisfactory” rating at the launch of the book “10 Karya Nyata untuk Negeri: Setengah Abad Bahlil Lahadalia” at Djakarta Theater in Jakarta on Friday (7/8). Prabowo said he is generally reluctant to grade his aides, but for a minister a score in the 88-89 range is already satisfactory. He said the new cabinet is only entering its “mid-semester” phase, leaving time to improve performance through 2029. At the event, which also marked the 50th birthday of Golkar Party Chairman Bahlil, Prabowo joked that Bahlil is an intelligent figure because he was able to make former President Joko Widodo laugh, then said he still attended despite having the flu after Bahlil persuaded him.
