Police raid etomidate vape factory in PIK, Singaporean arrested

Authorities found 2,2 kg of raw material hidden in shampoo bottles and used a control delivery to track it to the production house.

Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police, working with Customs, raided a house in Pantai Indah Kapuk, North Jakarta, that was allegedly being used to mix cartridge vape containing etomidate, and arrested LHM, a 34-year-old Singaporean. The raid followed the seizure of a shipment containing two bottles of etomidate liquid weighing about 2.200 grams gross, concealed in shampoo packaging. Officers then carried out a control delivery until the package reached its destination address. At the scene, police seized thousands of empty cartridges and liquid-filling equipment. Police suspect LHM acted as the main mixer and are still investigating how long the operation had been running, how many products had entered circulation, and what other networks were involved. Initial estimates indicate about two liters of etomidate liquid could be processed into nearly 2.000 ready-for-sale cartridges.
