Polda NTT delays questioning of 4 suspects in dr Icha case to July 14
Police have questioned 32 witnesses and will seek expert opinions to determine whether a criminal element and causal link exist.
Polda Nusa Tenggara Timur postponed questioning four reported suspects in the alleged intimidation case involving doctor Eliza Princila Utami Pakaenoni, or dr Icha, from Monday (13/7) to Tuesday (14/7) at the request of defense counsel because the suspects could not attend. The four reported suspects are three members of the Timor Tengah Utara DPRD, namely Therezius Lazakar, Robert Tubani, and Veronika Lake, as well as an ASN veterinary doctor at the TTU Livestock Service, Maria Mathildis Sau. Reskrimum Polda NTT Director Sigit Haryono said investigators have also questioned 32 witnesses, consisting of 27 people in Kefamenanu and 5 from the victim's family at Polda NTT. The witnesses came from health workers at RSUD Kefamenanu, Rumah Sakit Leona, patients, and others who knew about the incident. Police are also preparing expert examinations in psychology, victimology criminology, and criminal law before the case review.
