PNM launches Mekaar InspirAksi for low-income women clients

The program pairs clients with account officers for business mentoring, innovation and capacity building based on ESG.

PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) is running the Mekaar InspirAksi program as a platform for collaboration between clients and account officers to expand the impact of business empowerment for low-income women in Indonesia. The program combines intensive mentoring, business innovation and capacity building so clients can move up sustainably, with a focus on environment, sustainability and governance aspects. PNM President Director Kindaris said empowerment does not end with financing disbursement, but must also include opportunities to learn, innovate and receive guidance. PNM also said its partnership with Danantara is intended to widen opportunities for low-income families so they can do more than survive and can grow and improve their families' future.
