Pertamina Patra Niaga revamps oil and LPG import procurement
Changes include emergency procedures, segregation of duties, the four eyes principle and greater compliance involvement.
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has begun overhauling governance for energy procurement, especially for imports of crude oil, condensate, fuel and LPG. The move was discussed at a focus group discussion in Jakarta on June 11, 2026, involving Kejaksaan Agung, KPK, LKPP, academics and the company’s internal oversight function. Pertamina Patra Niaga Commercial Director Erwin Suryadi said the forum was used to refine draft procurement reforms so the process would be more transparent, accountable and in line with legal requirements. Measures discussed included adjustments to procedures in emergency conditions, segregation of duty, the four eyes principle and stronger involvement of the compliance function. From Kejaksaan Agung, Irene Putri and Deny Alvianto said legal assistance and risk mitigation are needed so business decisions remain compliant while supporting national energy security.
