Pertamina, Kemnaker sign vocational and K3 training deal
The accord, signed June 22 in Jakarta, covers employment program coordination and work-safety training.
PT Pertamina (Persero) and the Ministry of Manpower signed a memorandum of understanding and a cooperation agreement to develop human resources competencies and vocational training in occupational safety and health (K3). The signing took place in Jakarta on Monday, 22 June 2026. The memorandum of understanding covers coordination of employment programs and human resources utilization, while the cooperation agreement focuses on the delivery of K3 training. Manpower Minister Yassierli said the collaboration is important to prepare workers who match industry needs. For Pertamina, Deputy CEO Oki Muraza said the operational demands of the energy sector require workers who are competent and disciplined in a safety culture. Chief Commissioner Mochamad Iriawan also urged the partnership to grow into a national and regional-standard center for safety competency development.
