Pertamina checks Bali jet fuel stocks ahead of holiday flights

AFT Ngurah Rai holds 24,300 KL of jet fuel and is now distributing an average 1,495 KL a day.

PT Pertamina (Persero) reviewed jet fuel supply readiness at the Aviation Fuel Terminal Ngurah Rai in Bali ahead of higher flight traffic during the midyear holiday period. Pertamina President Commissioner Mochamad Iriawan visited the facility on Saturday (13/6) to inspect operations and aircraft fuel quality supplied to domestic and international airlines at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. The facility, run by Pertamina Patra Niaga, has a storage capacity of 24,300 kiloliters, with average consumption of about 1,495 kiloliters per day. AFT Ngurah Rai manager I Komang Susila Gosa said routine checks, visual tests, product specification tests and safety measures are applied from receipt through distribution of the jet fuel. Iriawan also observed daily quality inspections before the fuel is delivered to aircraft.
