Pertamax drops Rp300 to Rp15,950 per liter starting Aug. 1
Pertamax Turbo falls Rp1,000 and Pertamax Green Rp400, while Dexlite, Pertamina Dex, Pertalite and Biosolar stay unchanged.
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga will cut prices of nonsubsidized fuel in the Pertamax series starting Aug. 1, 2026. In areas with a 5 percent motor vehicle fuel tax, such as DKI Jakarta, Pertamax falls from Rp16,250 to Rp15,950 per liter, Pertamax Turbo from Rp19,300 to Rp18,300, and Pertamax Green 95 from Rp17,000 to Rp16,600.
By contrast, nonsubsidized diesel prices are unchanged: Dexlite stays at Rp19,700 per liter and Pertamina Dex at Rp21,150 per liter. Assigned and subsidized fuels are also unchanged, with Pertalite at Rp10,000 per liter and Biosolar at Rp6,800 per liter.
Pertamina said the adjustment follows the formula in Kepmen ESDM No. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022, taking into account global oil prices, the rupiah exchange rate and public purchasing power. It is the first price cut since Pertamax and Pertamax Green rose on June 10, 2026.
