Persija rout Brisbane Roar 4-0 in JIS friendly
Alexander Jeremejeff scored twice, and the win gives Persija momentum before visiting Borneo FC on 5 September.
Persija Jakarta beat Brisbane Roar FC 4-0 in an international friendly at Jakarta International Stadium, Jakarta, on Saturday, 29 August 2026. Alexander Jeremejeff stood out with two goals, while Kerim Memija scored once. One more came from an own goal by Brisbane Roar goalkeeper Dean Bouzanis. Persija coach Shin Tae-yong said his team played well in its final warmup before the season starts. The result extended Persija's positive preseason run after earlier wins over PSMS, Arema FC, Police Tero and Chiangrai United. On the visitors' side, coach Michael Valkanis acknowledged his team was at a different stage of preparation, with Brisbane Roar still about six weeks from the start of the season. Persija are scheduled to open the Super League away to Borneo FC at Stadion Segiri, Samarinda, on 5 September.
