Persebaya beat Port FC 2-1, set up semifinal with Arema
Persebaya topped Group B, while Persib will meet Persija in the other semifinal after the final group-stage results.
Persebaya Surabaya defeated Port FC 2-1 in the final Group B match of the 2026 Piala Presiden at Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium in Surabaya on Saturday night, securing a place in the semifinals as group winner. Port FC went ahead first through Issam Abdallah Saif Al Sabhi in the 30th minute. Persebaya equalized before halftime through Miguel Pereira in the 40th minute, then took the lead through a goal by Alex Martins in the 47th minute after receiving a pass from Francisco Rivera. Port FC’s chances faded after Bruno Moreira was shown a straight red card in the 61st minute. The 2-1 score held until the final whistle. The result sends Persebaya against Group A runner-up Arema FC in the semifinals. The other semifinal pits Persib Bandung, Group A winner, against Persija Jakarta.
