Pentagon posts 40 more UFO files, including 19 videos
What's new: The release includes records from NASA, the CIA, FBI and Energy Department, with one file describing a 2015 Pantex nuclear-site lockdown.
The Pentagon published a fourth batch of files on unidentified anomalous phenomena, adding 40 items to its online archive, including 14 documents, 19 videos, four audio recordings and three images. The material, released Friday, spans records from the Pentagon, NASA, CIA, FBI and the Department of Energy under an executive order signed by President Donald Trump earlier this year. One Energy Department file describes an unidentified object entering airspace near the Pantex nuclear weapons facility outside Amarillo, Texas, in September 2015, prompting a lockdown as two officers tried to track it. Other newly posted footage includes military infrared recordings from incidents over the Atlantic, Pacific and the Middle East.
