Government sets 0% duty on aircraft parts, LPG imports
The LPG facility for petrochemical feedstock lasts six months, while MRO incentives are governed by PMK 50/2026.
The government has set 0% import duty on aircraft parts and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for feedstock in the petrochemical industry under the Second-Half 2026 Economic Stimulus Package. The policy is aimed at lowering production costs and maintaining the competitiveness of the real sector. For the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) industry, the facility applies to goods and materials used in aircraft maintenance and repair. For LPG, the 0% tariff applies for six months through tariff lines 9845.10.00 and 9845.20.00. The legal basis is PMK Number 50 of 2026, which was signed on 15 July 2026 and takes effect seven days after promulgation, with additional technical rules in Permenperin Number 16 of 2026 and Kepmenperin Number 1944 of 2026.
