Bulan Solidaritas Palestina 2026 opens at Monas

Aqsa Working Group opened Bulan Solidaritas Palestina 2026 at Plaza Selatan Monas, Jakarta, on Sunday, drawing more than 5.000 participants from across the country. The sixth BSP opening was held alongside the Apel 1.000 Relawan Kemanusiaan, coordinated by Ukhuwah Al-Fatah Rescue. The ceremony was marked by a gong strike by Palestine's Ambassador to Indonesia Abdulfattah A.K. Al-Sattari, accompanied by AWG leaders and several national figures. The volunteer parade featured rescue, medical, journalism, construction and social activist contingents. Organizers also raised giant Indonesia and Palestine flags and flew both countries' flags using a paramotor. Throughout November, the committee has prepared eight follow-up events, including Solidarity Run for Palestine, Summit for Palestine, an anti-Zionist symposium and a long march ending at Masjid Istiqlal on 29 November.
