Ouattara earns Brentford 1-1 draw after Hull strike first
What's new: Hull stretched its winless run to seven league matches, despite preserving its unbeaten home record.
Dango Ouattara scored in the 63rd minute to secure a 1-1 draw for Brentford against Hull City at the MKM Stadium in the Premier League. Hull had taken the lead in the 24th minute when Oli McBurnie converted a penalty after Aaron Hickey brought down Tim Iroegbunam in the box. McBurnie’s spot kick beat Caoimhin Kelleher for his first Premier League goal in more than 900 days. Brentford leveled after Igor Thiago found Ouattara, who finished from close range as Hull’s defense lost shape. The result left Hull without a win in seven matches, though its unbeaten home run stayed intact.
