Ohio Sen. Moreno urges Rep. Max Miller to quit House race

What's new: Moreno publicly broke with his former son-in-law as Miller refused to drop out before Wednesday's replacement deadline.

Ohio Sen. Bernie Moreno publicly urged Rep. Max Miller to step aside, saying his former son-in-law should not serve in the House as Miller fought domestic abuse allegations tied to a bitter custody dispute with Moreno's daughter, Emily Moreno. In a post Sunday, Moreno said Miller needs serious psychological help and is a danger to his daughter. Miller, an Ohio Republican endorsed by President Donald Trump, answered in a live X video that he will stay in the race and win in November. He denied abusing his ex-wife or daughter and released court and investigative records he said would clear him. Emily Moreno's spokesperson called Miller's video shameful and said the case would be tested in court.
