Oegroseno Goes to Bareskrim Over Alleged Sepolwan Land Corruption
The former deputy police chief was questioned as a witness over the Sepolwan land grant in Ciputat and replacement land in Lembang.
Former Deputy Police Chief Oegroseno arrived at the Polri Bareskrim building in Jakarta on Thursday at around 10:03 WIB to respond to an invitation for clarification in an investigation into alleged corruption in the grant of land and buildings for Sekolah Polisi Wanita (Sepolwan). The case being examined by Kortastipidkor Polri covers the Sepolwan land in Ciputat, South Jakarta, as well as the procurement of replacement land in Lembang, West Java. Oegroseno said he was questioned in his capacity as former Kalemdiklat Polri. He said he did not bring documents because the procurement took place in 2011 and the entire process was said to have been handled by a committee. Previously, he had postponed his appearance from the July 23 schedule. Polri said the case is still at the investigation stage to determine whether a criminal act of corruption occurred.
