Netanyahu Rejects Trump's 15-Point Gaza Peace Plan

Hamas still says it is ready to carry out the roadmap, while Israel insists it will not withdraw before full disarmament.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected the 15-point Gaza roadmap proposed by the Board of Peace formed by U.S. President Donald Trump. At a cabinet meeting on Sunday, Netanyahu said Israel would not withdraw forces from the Gaza Strip until Hamas fully disarms. He also renewed his rejection of a Palestinian state while he remains in office. The plan, announced by Trump on July 30, calls for disarmament of Hamas and other armed groups, a full Israeli military withdrawal, and the transfer of Gaza's administration to an independent National Committee for Gaza Administration backed by international security forces. Separately, Hamas political bureau member Bassemm Naim said the group remains committed to implementing the plan and urged mediators and the U.S. to pressure Israel to comply.
