Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sharply criticized New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani on Sunday, accusing him of stoking division with calls for his arrest and with anti-Israel rhetoric. In an interview on Fox News, Netanyahu said Mamdani was turning New Yorkers against one another and making Jewish residents feel unsafe. He pointed to last week's stabbing outside a Manhattan synagogue, where authorities allege Raul Morales stabbed a Jewish man with a screwdriver while shouting "Allahu Akbar." Mamdani had said city officials do not have the authority to arrest Netanyahu under the International Criminal Court warrant, but urged federal officials to act and called Netanyahu a war criminal.
